Canon-McMillan Parent Council is an organization of parents and administrators interested in the education of children as well as the activities and functions of our schools. The responsibilities of the council include: to act as a liaison between parents and school administration, to encourage active participation in school activities, to appoint representatives to district-wide committees as required, to foster communication between all school levels and to encourage participation in Parent Council activities.
Parent Council prides itself in not being a body which makes decisions for schools, nor acts as a replacement for the governing bodies of each individual school parent organization/booster group, nor as a forum for complaints about individual teachers, pupils, or parents.
Any parent is welcome to attend the following meetings:
