Congratulations First Street Elementary
Title 1 Achievement Award
First Street Elementary School has been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to receive the Title 1 Academic Achievement Award of $3000.00 in the 2010-2011 school year.
The school is among the list of top 25 performers in Reading and Math, based on the percentage of students scoring Advanced and Proficient in the All Students category of the 2009-2010 Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA).
In addition to the awarding of funds, the PDE, Division of Federal Programs, will honor First Street Elementary School at the Penn Stater 2011 Title 1 Improving Schools’ Performance Conference as a 2011 Distinguished Title 1 School.
